The daughter of Jewish immigrants from Morocco and Latvia, and having grown up in Côte Saint-Luc, Elisabeth Prass made the leap into active politics to ensure a strong voice for D'Arcy-McGee residents in the National Assembly. MNA for D'Arcy-McGee since October 3, 2022, Elisabeth Prass is the Official Opposition critic for Social Services, for Mental Health, and for Persons Living with a Disability or on the Autism Spectrum. She and her husband have two young boys, one of whom has special needs. With 15 years of experience in politics, Elisabeth Prass has worked at several levels of the provincial government, including: as a researcher and translator for the parliamentary wing of government; as a political advisor to the Ministers of Economic Development, Innovation & Export Trade, Raymond Bachand and Clément Gignac; and as the Director of the D'Arcy-McGee riding office. She has also worked for VIA Rail Canada, a Crown corporation, as a Senior Advisor for Government & Community Relations. Elisabeth Prass holds a Bachelor's degree in Sociology & Political Science from Concordia University, and a Master's certificate in International Affairs from McGill University.
